
CANBERRA: The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) is calling all tertiary students and new graduates over the age of 18 to apply for the eighth annual ANC-AU Youth Advocates program, held on Monday, 24 November and Tuesday, 25 November 2025.
This year’s program will once again include a two-day visit to the nation’s capital, Canberra with members of the ANC-AU National Office and Board, giving participants a hands-on opportunity to engage with Australia’s federal political system and master the art of advocacy.
Under the guidance of the ANC-AU National Office and Board, the 2023 Youth Advocate participants will engage in the following activities over the course of two days:
- Hands-on Advocacy Workshops;
- A Mock Parliamentary Discussion at Parliament House on a topic of national relevance, moderated by MPs;
- Sessions at think tanks and media organisations;Mock Advocacy sessions with Senators and Members of Parliament;
- Attendance at Parliamentary Question Time.

It’s about giving the next generation of Armenian-Australians leaders, the skills and experiences they need to become confident advocates and carry on the work of Hai Tad, either in the field of politics or their respective industries”
