SYDNEY: The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) is pleased to announce that its premier annual event, the 2026 ANC-AU Sydney Gala, will be held on Saturday, 5 December 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, commencing at 6:30pm.
The Gala will bring together members and supporters of the Armenian-Australian community, alongside prominent representatives from Australia’s political, diplomatic, academic, media, and non-government sectors, for an evening celebrating the community’s achievements and the continued work of the ANC-AU.
The event will provide an opportunity to reflect on a significant year for the Armenian-Australian community and celebrate the collective achievements of its advocacy, community engagement, and public affairs efforts throughout 2026.
A highlight of the evening will be the participation of the ANC-AU Advocacy Week Guest of Honour, whose identity will be announced in the coming weeks. The Guest of Honour will join Australian community and political leaders for ANC-AU’s flagship celebration of Armenian-Australian advocacy and community achievement.
The Gala will also provide an opportunity to recognise individuals and organisations who have made significant contributions to the Armenian-Australian community and supported the advancement of its advocacy priorities throughout the year.
ANC-AU Political Affairs Director Sebastian Majarian said: “The ANC-AU Sydney Gala is a unique opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate what we have achieved over the past year, and recognise the many individuals and organisations who have contributed to strengthening the Armenian-Australian community’s voice.”
