MELBOURNE: As part of the Armenian National Committee of Australia’s (ANC-AU) 50th Anniversary celebrations, the peak public affairs body is proud to announce its third annual ANC-AU Melbourne Gala, which will be held on Sunday 30 November 2025, commencing at 5:00pm at Slate Restaurant Bar.
The ANC-AU has proudly unveiled its official 50th Anniversary logo, which was released last month to mark 50 years since the organisation’s establishment. The logo reflects the organisation’s five decades of tireless advocacy, community representation, and nation-building efforts - serving as a symbol of both heritage and continuity, it will feature prominently throughout the year’s commemorative events, including the upcoming Gala.
This year’s anniversary carries the motto “Honouring Our Past, Securing Our Future”, encapsulating the dual mission of the ANC-AU. It pays tribute to the generations who laid the foundation of advocacy for Armenian-Australians while reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding the rights, identity, and aspirations of future Armenians, both in the diaspora and the Armenian homeland.
Attendees in Melbourne will include prominent figures from Australian political, diplomatic, academic, media, and NGO sectors, all united in their support of ANC-AU’s mission, celebrating the collective achievements of the Armenian-Australian community’s advocacy efforts over the past 50 years.
The organisation has already secured the 2025 Advocacy Week ‘International Guest of Honour’ who will participate in the organisation’s annual Advocacy Week ahead of the Sydney and Melbourne Gala event and will be announced in the coming weeks.

The ANC-AU 50th Anniversary Melbourne Gala will serve as the second flagship celebration of this milestone year, following the Sydney Gala the evening prior.
