SYDNEY: The Armenian Professional Network of Australia (APN-AU) hosted its Professional Services Networking Event on 3 June 2026 at Economos in the heart of Sydney's CBD, bringing together more than 40 Armenian-Australian professionals from across a range of industries.
Sponsored by Mr George Shahinian CA, Managing Partner of Economos Chartered Accountants, the event provided a valuable opportunity for Armenian-Australians working in professional services to expand their networks, foster new connections, and support one another's professional development.
A highlight of the evening was a presentation by digital innovation expert and consultant Mr Steve Ferhad. As the founder of Innovation Ready, Mr Ferhad delivered an engaging discussion on the evolving professional services landscape, sharing insights into the opportunities and challenges presented by emerging technologies and digital transformation.
The event formed part of APN-AU's ongoing efforts to strengthen professional ties within the Armenian-Australian community and create meaningful opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and career advancement.
APN-AU Professional Services Forum Lead, Mr Rafi Karnik CA, welcomed the strong turnout and emphasised the importance of fostering connections among Armenian professionals.
“Events like these demonstrate the depth of talent that exists within the Armenian-Australian community and the value of creating spaces where professionals can connect, share knowledge, and support one another's success,” Ms Ferhad said.
“Our network is built on the idea that when Armenian professionals come together, we create opportunities not only for individual career growth, but for the advancement and empowerment of our entire community.”
The Armenian Professional Network of Australia (APN-AU), relaunched in 2018 as an initiative of the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU), seeks to connect Armenian professionals across Australia and cultivate a strong, supportive professional community.
